we chose hawaii because we knew it was a destination that we would probably never go back to ever again.. that flight was brutal but we had a great time

i'd go for st. lucia because you hope to be able to afford a decadent vacation at a place like jade mountain in the future but you never know! ... and i'm not a fan of really long flights - st. lucia is closer, lol ...

I agree with others-- Hawaii is def a trip you cant do once you have a family, do it now- it was GREAT- stayed on Kauai. You can do Jade for the 1st yr anni

I would say Hawaii. St. Lucia is beautiful but I feel like you could probably go there for a 3-4 day trip at some other point... Hawaii you definitely need to be able to take off for a long period of time.
