North Carolina, so that i can have a big house and property, for half the cost of NY.

But FH will never leave NY

I'd like to live elsewhere (esp somewhere warm!)but FH loves living here... hopefully we'll have enough money to buy a house on LI by the time we get married!

M FI says the money is in NY so he isn't leaving. Hopefully one day we can be young homeowners on the island.

the city ... i cant do LI ( SRY LADIES ) ... its too slow for me i need subways and buses that run 24 hrs lol ... i love the city

Same for me...

I love Brooklyn, I want to live in every neighborhood for a year! Its so diverse and interesting.

But don't get me wrong, I love LI, my minimoon will be in Riverhead area and I'm getting married in vineyard out in North Fork.

Right where we are now! When we buy a house, we're gonna stay in North Babylon too. (My son's already in school here)

we will move wherever we can afford...
probably stay in an apartment for a while after we are married to save for a house, then buy one whereever we can afford, and knowing us we wont leave LI...
