I'm getting pasty and I just don't want to be - I haven't gone tanning since high school; i did the spray tan once but i want a real tan and unfortunately i can't afford to fly to PR or florida. I don't want any place shady so looking for some recommendations....i live right on the border of forest hills/rego park.

My sister works at a beach bum by her school. It's a lot better than a number of chains. It's more expensive than the single owned shops though.

I think there are like two beach bums on Queens Blvd so that's probably where I'll end up. was just wondering if people went anywhere else...

yeah theres 2 on queens blvd, one by commerce right by 71st avenue and another one just up a few blocks close to the tango argentine steakhouse
go to the one by tango, the other one the ppl got on my nerves lol the one by tango theyre nicer

its ditmars and 31st street
hes dark but he shaves his head and ALWAYS has a hat on so not sure if he is blonde lol, ive never seen him with hair but looks like he might be...hes also very thin
hes there until 3pm on weekends and weekdays he leaves at 6pm

I live near there and everyone I know goes there and loves it. I dont go tanning due to skin cancer issues.
