Where's a good place to register for baby things?

Where's a good place to register for baby things?

I'm not pregant - but my friend at work is, and she and her husband are from California. I suggested Babies R Us, any other good registries? This is their first, so they need everything.

I love Buy Buy Baby's selection at the store, but there online store isn't that great.

Babies R Us, is probably the biggest and the best in my opinion..
They have absolutly everything.

Toys R Us has a little as does smaller places like target.

When I've shopped for my pregnant friends, I found that Buy Buy Baby is the best - they have a huge selection, and they're staff is actually competent and knowledgeable, unlike what I've found at Babies R Us.

The only downside is that there aren't too many around yet.
