Where's a good Spanish interpreter, when I need one!!!
I just had a call from Guatemala, specifically for Debi. I think it was the father of the little girl Debi sponsored, there. But I felt so helpless because I couldn't understand the poor guy or his interpreter! All I understood was GOD bless you and Merry Christmas. Aaaaaaaaaaahhhhh, I need to learn Spanish!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Mary MOB

wow thats wild. Im sure you could tell from the tone of voice it was more of a merry call than a worry call.

Christy, I just told Debi about the call. This is the third or fourth time I've heard from them. Debi said the agency through which she sponsored the little girl, pulled out of Guatemala. We have friends in Guatemala. I want to share info, whatever Debi has, with them, about the little girl and her family; Perhaps they can put Debi in touch with them. Debi never wanted to stop giving to them, but she doesn't really have an address, and I'm doubtful the agency would give her one. Yes, it did sound like a good wishes call, and the gentleman sounded very sweet; I'm just feeling really inadequate!! Mary MOB
