i just wanted to say that MrsS4 not being a 'bride' wasn't the start of the drama thread you ladies are talking about. I'll admit that i was involved in it--and I'm sure you will all hate me -- but I just wanted to verify what started the entire thing. When MrsS4 asked about joint vs. seprate accts. she stated how she loved to spend money on her Louis bags and such and her FH loves to spend $ on his car....thousands of dollars. one person asked a simple question of 'wow--aren't you guys young? can you afford to spend thousands on stuff like that with the wedding and college? cause i remember being that young and being a little crazy with my money sometimes.'

it wasn't meant to be anything but a question, however sometimes its hard to see a tone in a question and i assume MrsS4 took it differently and responded saying 'Well actually i probably have more money in my bank account than YOU do...so mind your business'

THAT was the spark that set some people off and it just went nuts from there. it wasn't until later on that the whole 'you're not even engaged' part came into play.

And to add... she called a few girls fat, bashed some marriages, pathetic, ugly, stupid, tacky, classless....and she was the first to throw the punches and all the girls she called names responded to her.

Hi girls,
Alot of us on here didnt know any of this until early this morning...And whatever happend, lets just leave it be. It happened in the past and lets move on from it. All of us 10 brides get along so well and everyone on here is super helpful, I dont think any of us want to have to worry about drama or feeling unwelcomed on these boards, its too early in our wedding planning to have that! We all love LIW so much, let just keep it that way....

i have to agree. yes she was a nice girl, dont get me wrong, but the 2010 board will go on.

definitely savor this time ladies---its been said before, and i'll say it one more time....we alllll used to be happy about the lack of dramaz on our year boards before they got too full of people. we 07ers said that when we watched the 06ers have drama in their year.....08ers said it when us 07ers had our drama, 09ers......well...... they already had one of the biggest fits of drama i have EVER seen in my life.....so i'm sure the days will come when it comes here.....its just how it gets dealt with that matters.

No, it was a play and dinner in the city. Yep- the dramz was that good!

oh boyy i do check in once and a while i have just been caught up in a lot of family stuff that has been going on--- and I really am touched that a thread like this even exists--- thank you ladies

and to provide a little clarity-- the woman who i first responded to on the thread regarding bank accounts, I had previously been FMed by regarding law school and she 'looked down upon me for wanting to go to Touro Law' needless to say I would be honored to get into any law school at 19 and my father is partners with lawyers so thankfully all I really need is a degree, so to go on when I had asked the accounts question I had never responded and some women went one way with their opinion and some went another so I wanted to explain myself, so I did state that I spend a lot of money and my fh (or boyfriend if that makes more people comfortable) spends a lot too and we both agree that we should have it separate because neither one of us would be happy if we went into the account and saw thousands missing for whatever reason and we dont think we need any permission from one another so it would be to both of our advantages to have separate accounts. I really do not want to start this whole thing over again but I do want to explain, I did say I spend money on LVs and he spends it on his car-- Im sorry if that offended anyone....

So then I get a reply from the above listed woman saying aren't you only 19? do you really even have thousands to spend? So I remembered this was the same women from before, and who is she to question me or anyone else for that matter and their financial status. So yes I did get angry and I did respond with a not so nice remark stating that it was none of her business and that age doesn't play a role and yes immaturely I also did state that I probably did have more money in the bank than she did and advised her to mind her business. Then another 10 girls started with the nasty responses. They put me under a microscope and starting saying anything and everything that I had ever said or showed on LIW, to name a few they pointed out and bashed on the fact that I am 19 --- then the fact that I am not engaged--made fun of my blue juicy outfit--told me my nails were tacky-- made fun of my boyfriends hair--and I think that there were more but i don't remember them and yes in return after all of that I honestly did not know what to say back and they were calling me a coward for not replying and how i was scared and that I was not so yes I did stoop to their level and I said what the previous posts said --- however in the end I really am not a bad person and i myself felt bad and I included a full apology supposedly a couple of hours before the thread was deleted so not many read it--(even though I am not sure if it was necessary) but I did it anyway.

That is basically what happened--- but I dont want to go into it and bring the drama back--- I just wanted to explain what happened-- and heyy girless--- hows everyone been?
