Where's everyone?

I'm grading a test, then looking at LIW...

makes the grading go much more slowly, but I don't think I could take just doing it without a break!

UGH... teaching would be SO much more fun if we didn't have to grade stuff!!!

Him and his dad are working on the kitchen (we are in the middle of a complete re-model)
I am doing my best to stay out of the way.
I quit smoking last night so I didn't want to go out with my friends since most of them smoke.

Best of luck with the kitchen and giving up smoking! I would stay out of the way of the kitchen too.

I think it is SO wonderful that you are quitting smoking! I have been begging my dad for years to quit, and he just can't do it. He's on oxygen machines now, and he still smokes.

WOW! I would think he would get to the point of giving it up now. But THAT is exactly why I need to give it up now.
I have one day down..I heard that the first three days are the worst so we will see.
I am REALLY giving it an effort this time though.

he's smoked for over 40 years... i'm so mad at him, but he just can't do it. He's tried everything, and he just doesn't have the willpower to do it.

He even has asthma and is starting to have emphysema... and he INSISTS, as he's gasping for breath and using his inhalers, that it's not because of the smoking or the COPD that he got from smoking.

Ah, family.

I have smoked for about 14 years and I can tell you this quitting stuff is HARD, no matter how many times your loved ones yell at you, you can't quit until your ready. Sadly, for some, that time never comes.
I will keep him in my thoughts and prayers.
