Where's my energy boost????

I've been reading in all my books that in your second trimester you are supposed to get this big boost of enegy....well I already 18 weeks and i'm still waiting. I still feel like I'm ready to drop dead!

I don't think I actually had an 'energy boost' I just found that eventually I started to feel more comfortable and enjoyed being pregnant and that quickly changed and I felt like a huge cow It's all worth it in the end!

I felt the same thing. Once the MS went away, or for me the all day sickness, I started feeling more comfortable and not so blah.

I literally feel exhausted24 hrs a day. I had boosts of energy with my last 2 pregnancies, but I keep waiting for this one. Maybe you;re anemic? Ask for a blood draw, I did that with my last pregnancy and indeed I was anemic. I'm not this time around, my doc blames it on having 2 toddlers, working and running a household.

I never got one I felt better in my second trimester than I did in any other trimester but definitely never got the energy boost.

I never got one. I felt worse in the 2nd trimester than the first at some points. My MS would come back and forth thoughout the pregnancy. I had the most energy in my 1st trimester. But to tell you the truth, I was never a pregnant woman who was falling asleep at 9pm....I ever changed my sleeping schedule...in fact I starting getting less sleep because I slept poorly at night and was still ok. I never had a low energy level - just ms all day long all pregnancy long. Now after pregnancy - now I have low energy levels and can fall asleep at 9pm if the baby would allow.

I've been wondering the same thing. I'm 15 weeks today and have no energy. I come home every night, climb into bed and don't get back up till the next morning (with the exception of going to the bathroom). Last night was the lastest I have stayed up in a while which was 9:30. Usually its a struggle just to make it to 7:30 or 8:00.
