which 1st shoes or dress

Did anyone get the bridal shoes before the dress?

I did, but only because I knew what dress I wanted, I just hadn't purchased it yet. If I hadn't, I would have waited to buy shoes because I wouldn't want to limit my dress choices so they go with my shoes.

I did, but only because I knew I wanted leopard shoes... I also got a purple flower pair as well.

They wont go with any dress haha, so why wait!

Got any good suggestions on where to go for nice bridal or bridal like shoes??

I keep finding shoes that I love,,, and I have no dress!!! So buy the shoes, save the receipt and return them if they dont go with the dress!

be careful with this

if you get actual bridal shoes they are considered 'special occasion' which means no returns and sometimes no exchanges after 7 days!

Yikes! Did not think of that! But I guess I am not planning on getting 'bridal shoes'... I think I am going with a pair of Steve Madden, Guess, or Jessica Simpson heels.
Great point though for those getting that kind on wedding shoes!

I have the dress, but it wont be in until Nov/Dec. I should start looking.

I would say you should get the dress first so you can match the shoes to it. Unless, of course, you can return them.
