My fiance makes fun of me because I'm always telling him when anniversaries are. Like, ooohhh... we met three years ago today! Or, we had our first date three years ago today! Or, we're getting married 9 months from today! Or we got engaged a year ago today! He can't wait for us to get married so we have one official anniversary to remember. lol Not that we buy each other anything for these other 'anniversaries', but I was just wondering what people celebrate out there? Thanks... just curious.

we celebrate the day of our first date and the day we started 'going out' but more so the day of our first date... we still acknowledge both and starting this past september we started celebrating our upcoming wedding date and once we are married that will become our first priority anniversary!

Well, our Anniversary July 16th is the they day he asked me to be his girlfriend, the day he proposed, and the day we are getting married!! So, that will always be our anniversary. But, FH always says happy anniversary to me on February 10th because that is the date he asked me to be his gf when we were in 8th grade!

The only one we 'officially' celebrate is the day he asked me to be his 'woman and be exclusive.' He was so nervous. Bendito!!!!
But Friday makes our 4 year anniversary from our first date!!!

We don't really celebrate any of our anniversaries, but I do recognize them. I'll say 'do you know what we're going to be doing in X months?' and he usually comes up with something stupid to say with that grin.
As for our monthly 'dating' anniversary and 'meeting' anniversary, half the time I don't even remember them anymore. I've been so focused on the future that I'm not as concerned with the past. For our one year dating anniversary he took me out to dinner, that was about it!

We dont celebrate per se, like buy gifts and stuff, but we acknowledge the date we started dating exclusively 4-9-1997.

We never celebrated any anniversary until this past December....We went out to dinner on the one year anniversary of our engagement. Even though we knew eachother for year, we were only dating for 10 months before we got engaged, so I guess there was no opportunity to celebrate one before that.
My FH used to celebrate weird anniversaries with his ex (she wanted to celebrate EVERYTHING) whereas I never cared and my ex and I never celebrated anything. I always make fun of him for being a girl before he started dating me....

We always make mention of the 20th of every month (date of night we met) just kind of to see who remembers. He actually remembers more than me.

The only one that I can remember the exact day to, other than our engagement, is the day we met. We usually just mention (well, rephrase, I usually just mention), that we met x years ago on that day. This year in September it will be 6.

Anniversary of first date which is when we started going out really (July 10) ---we then got married on July 9 sooo we can have one celebration! This year we will be in Costa Rica then celebrating both
ps on my bday this year (the anniversary of our engagement) he wrote 'and happy anniversary' in my bday card
