I am looking for the best hair stylist and makeup artist who is semi affordable on Long Island. I have a few possibilities from Brooklyn and the city but my wedding is in Westhampton and they charge so much to travel. I don't mind paying expensive Long island prices, but don't want to pay expensive NY city prices. Any great celebrity type stylists/makeup people on Long Island? Who is amazing? Unique? Thanks!

my make up artist Deanna is amazing she has been on the moring show and does celebrities she works out of the John Barrett Salon in the city but does travel you can contact her at [email protected] she is amazing!!!

I would have to say the pedala sisters, their trials are free but they are expensive thought.

If I had the money I would go with Nelson D'Leon. He does amazing work. Every single person I have seen that used him looked absolutely stunning. He is around $1000 for hair and makeup.
There are a ton of talented and wonderful artists on Long Island to choose from. Check out Jill Harth and Also Jillian Eisenberg from Gorgeous Faces. I felt like a celebrity after I had my makeup trial. I had never looked better.

Id have to say Maureen Pedala for makeup, she does beautiful work and doesnt charge thousands, for hair Id have to say Tarale, even though she charges the average cost, she is amazingly talented and can do any style you show her.

Thank you all. Tarale is booked for my date. I will contact the others. And to the person who does not get why someone would want to spend tons on their wedding hair/makeup, you don't have to get it, you don't have to pay for it, you can do your own hair and makeup. This is my wedding, my hair and makup, and it is my choice and I choose to feel glamorous like a movie star on my special day. When else do you get to do such a thing and justify it?
