Funny you should bring this up tonight, because FH and I just got back from Russo's bridal showcase and before, we were set on having a DJ, but we saw the band Paris and we're changing our minds! We're thinking a band has more benefits for our type of party and they were SO GOOD. Everyone was fantastic, but the girls was especially awesome, she can sing anything and it sounds good.

Try looking into times square orchestra, FH and I had been to see a few bands live, we saw them and booked them on the spot!

Code Bleu is awesome! The original 8 pieces has one female lead who's really good and is great at the ballads and old time stuff. But if you book, you should definitely add the second female lead, Pamela, because she's AMAZING!!!!!!!!! She can sing Alicia Keys and Christina Aguilera like nobody's business! She's the one you need for the more recent stuff, and a lot of the R&B type music

You should look into Soul Revival , there lead singer is awesome and she is younger, def. not middle age I agree with you though and wanted a young, fun band.

My FSIL and FBIL surprised us with a band for our E party last Saturday....and we loved them!!! We even said...hmmm we already booked DJ..how can we work them into the wedding. The name is Cherry Pie! Check them out~

Live Wire has 2 amazing female singers and a male one that sounds just like Billy Joel! Reasonably priced and kept the dance floor packed all night. Loved them!!!!

thanks girls!!! you grils rock! we saw heart and soul twice and love them but aren't 100% sold. they were really great the first time we saw them but just okay the second time we saw them.
no offense to anyone who booked timepiece but we didnt like them FFIL had some comments about their lead singer lol

Just got married 8/8/09 and everyone can't stop talking about what an amazing time they had! The dance floor was packed the entire time! The musicians are extremely talented and a pleasure to work with. They went out of their way to accomodate all of our requests. I'm so happy I had them as part of one of the most memorable ocassions in my life -- my wedding!

Code Bleu is great. They did my sister's wedding in Feb. We used Rhapsody. Their female singer has an amazing voice.

I agree!! We had Soul Revival at our wedding almost a year ago and they were wonderful!!!!! I love their female singer is amazing, she performed our first dance beautifully.
