we didn't pick bedding but just food for thought, i was told not to register for bedding and linens until a few months before the wedding (before teh shower) b/c things get discontinued much faster than china, etc.

I'm waiting until the wedding date gets closer to choose bedding. I'm afraid that what I choose would get discontinued.

I chose a Nicole Miller set (Evening Glamour). I don't have a picture because it was discontinued. I loved it so much that when I found out it was being discontinued my mom bought the whole set for us. She's going to give it to me as a shower present (whenever I have a shower). So, it probably is a good idea to wait because they seem to discontinue bedding often.

We bought this a few months back along with the scarves to hang across the 4 posts...the pic doesn't do it justice. I will take pics of the bed all done up. I also have a few different pillows.
Now, if I can only get DH to make the darn bed (he wanted all of the pillows)![]()
The gold in the pattern comes out a lot more and it looks much more luxurious in person. Here in the pic it looks more like patchwork.

so true! FH and I picked out one we liked - it was discontinued/sold out - so we picked a new one and it is now also not available (ugh can't the Hotel Collection & Pottery Barn have things for more than 1 season
