Re: Which BM dress

I LOVE #2 and wish you could go with black. it must be gorgeous in black. But the blue is pretty - it's an almost icy blue, not a duller, 'sky blue'.

Re: Which BM dress

I love #2! But #3 is really nice also. I think the plaid makes it seem no so pastelly (if that is a word lol!)

Re: Which BM dress

They are both stunning, but #2 is just a little classier and unique
Where did you find them?

What colors are avaiable in #2?

Re: Which BM dress

I am also looking at #1 in black, though. Where did you find the dress to look at in person? I really haven't started looking much but I was curious to see if I liked it as much in person.

Re: Which BM dress

#2 is not available in as many colors as #1. If you go to the dessy and after six website you can look at both dresses in different colors.

I looked at #1 and #2 at RK Bridal in Manhattan. They both look as good in person. Since #3 is from the Jim Hjelm spring 03 line, they did not have this dress yet.

Thank you all for your input!

Re: Which BM dress

# 2 is absolutely stunning !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Also it will flatter everyone b/c of the jacket. I say go for # 2 either in the icy blue, which is gorgeous, or with the French Blue.

Please let us know what you decide

Re: Which BM dress

Shamma,

For # 2, I love both the heaven and the frenchblue. I'm leaning towards the heaven and may consider having my MOH wear the french blue. What do you think?

Re: Which BM dress

I tried on #2 the other day. I really liked the way the jacket was made. You have to be careful with sheer jackets b/c sometimes the stiching looks ratty...not the case with this dress.
Very nice choice (if it is your choice :)

Re: Which BM dress

It looks great in the platinum or blues, perfect for summer too. I am not crazy about black either for a wedding and I say white should be reserved for the bride.

do they have a pic without the jacket?

Re: Which BM dress

I love #2 also! I'm also getting married in July - July 5th- and am still looking for a dress for my girls. Is #2 strapless? It looks like there are straps underneath the jacket.

Re: Which BM dress

Depends on how your girls feel about having no sleeves-if any of them have a 'fat arm' concern then by all means #2 is beautiful, it is either way-but if they don't mind strapless I really like #3 too!

Re: Which BM dress

I think all three are pretty. I think #2 is cute but not really for July because of the jacket. Not sure how if looks with out the jacket. I really like it in the platinum color.

I like #3 - very pretty but how are all of your girls wearing strapless? I like pastels for the summer.

As for #1, 2 of my BM's wore that dress and it is very complimentary. Many of my girls considered it and they are all different sizes. It surprising looks great on many different body types. The color you posted it in is not my favorite by Dessy but I did wear it for my SIL's wedding and it looked much better on than off. The color showed up so great in her pictures (although the top was a blend of that color and silver). How about in claret? I think that would be pretty. I used bordeaux but that may be too dark for July.
