Re: Which Bridal Reflections....
When my friend was getting married and looking for a dress, we had a bad experience at the Carle Place store.
First off, my friend CLEARLY stated that she didn't want to spend any more than $3000 and they took at that to mean $3000 and UP. Nothing they showed her was less than $3500. Also, there was a trunk show for Yolanda couture the day we went and they were pushing Yolanda on my friend and trying to convince her to get a custom made dress by Yolanda. It was very annoying and my friend, wanting to be as nice as possible, asked them to hold onto the notes for a few days while she talked everything over with her mother. We went to the Massapequa store a few days later and the woman who helped us (I want to say Jeri, but I'm not sure - it was about 5 years ago) was VERY accommodating and sweet. We found a dress right away and it was well within her price range.
Go to Massapequa! Good Luck and Have fun!!

Re: Which Bridal Reflections....
HI Christina!!!
So I went to BR in Carle Place for my dress and I had a pleasant experience. I didn't care too much for the girls at the front being that they automatically told me if my budget wasn't in a certain price range to go to massapequa or NYC. But the woman I worked with in the bridal dept, Lorraine, was an absolute doll!! She's an older lady in her 60s id say and has been working there 18 yrs. She knew exactly what i wanted and let me take all the time i needed...i didn't not feel pushed at all. She actually brought out dresses that were a little under the price the girls at the front said they carried. If you go to carle place i highly recommend making an apt. with her. She's only there on weekdays btwn 5-7pm and on the weekends in the afternoon.
i went to BR in massapequa for bm dresses and I also had a pleasant experience. I worked with a woman selene (i think that was her name) and she really brought me dresses in my budget in designers she knew had the color i wanted. I can't say anything about the bridal dept. b/c i didnt use them.

Re: Which Bridal Reflections....
I used Massapequa and so far I love it. They understood what I meant when I said 'not expensive' and didn't show me anything outrageous. They were also very understanding when I called two days later and wanted to change my dress. My dress came in 4 months early and it was perfect.

Re: Which Bridal Reflections....
I used the BR in Massapequa and have had a great experience so far with one exception:
The first time I went there, the lady was very pushy reminded me of a used car salesman. She said she would give me a one time discount on the first dress I tried on if I bought it right there and then but it would be almost $200 more if I waited and she kept telling me I wouldn't find anything better. It was gorgeous and in my price range so I bought it and I am very happy with it but I really would have liked to try on more dresses.
They have been very good since then on updating me on the status of the dress, bridesmaid dresses, first fitting went well.
