I've only been to RK Bridal, and there was no way I could sneak any pictures in of myself. Now, I can't completely remember what my dress looks like (other than on the website) or how it looks on me...
Oh, and my dress is a Watters & watters....so I'll need a store that carries that line...

LOL I've only been to RK Bridal...if you can have someone take one good picture, then when they start yelling and complaining just have the person with the camera apologize and say they didnt know you couldnt take pictures. Your second option is the camera phone. There was a girl there with her mom and fiance (I guess he didnt mind seeing her in the dress) He just held up his camera phone like he was playing a game or sending a text message and snapped away. Make sure you have the shutter noise turned off.

I went to RK bridal, wedding Salon-(snooty), iman's bridal couture-(rude), and bridal reflections, and Bridal Couture of Manhasset- none of the places allow you to take pictures... i will have to say that i really didnt insist- i just assumed thats the policy-but i could have if i wanted to.

At Lillette's you weren't allowed, only if you bought it. I never had a chance to sneak it, I was never left alone even in the dressing room. I totally understand why they wouldn't want peopel taking pics though...
you do? i dont AT ALL - its not like they are the designer and if youre gonna get it there then you will and if youre not you wont makes no sense to me

no, they didnt until my mom asked why and then he said OK he gave some story about how they used to cut the labels out of the dresses and they dont anymore - what that has to do with picture taking is beyond me
