For a plus size BM, I believe #6 is the style.

All of my BMs are plus size. ANd when they tried on the ones that gather across the front it looked like it was pulling, and too tight. I have to go with the last one. My girls are actually getting one similar to that. It really made them the most comfortable.

Myself, being a larger on top which most plus sized girls are - would feel most comfortable in #1

They are all very pretty but I think number 6 will be the best. The ladies will look lovely.

As a plus size bride, I have to disagree with the empire being the most flattering. IMO I think empire makes bigger gals look preggo! I would pick number 1 because of the nice strap and pulled fabric. Definitley no strapless!! (for me anyway) BTW, who makes number 1?

as a plus sized chick, I would wear 2 and 3. the empire dress would just look horrible on my figure, but every women's body is different, plus size or not. the wrap around the middle section can be quite flattering. I tried on a few wedding dresses like that, and they surely hide some things ;)
Good Luck! I had a difficult time finding dresses for my girls b/c they are all different.... 6, 12, 20 and 28 and we ended up with the one below.

after reading some responses I just wanted to say....
I think it really depends on the girl. I'm big and my wedding dress is strapless. Some plus size women have no problems with it at all. Some plus size women look better that way, then with a cap sleeve. It really depends on who we're dealing with here.
I have a size 12 bridesmaid who is NOT plus size at all (she's more like a size 8!) and she doesn't want to be strapless. And my size 28 bridesmaid has no problem with it. You just don't know.

Many plus-sized women have issues with specialty bras. They are often too tight and uncomfortable - especially strapless bras for strapless dresses. I was once a size 24 so I know how this feels. Even though I am no longer plus-sized, I am still very sensitive to people who are and would never make them feel uncomfortable for the sake of fashion. Unless of course they happen to like the dress you pick.
