Hi everyone - I've been having some issues choosing China - there's not anything I really love. I've been looking at Fortunoff's and Michael C. Fina in Manhattan. Any other suggestions?
Which pattern did you choose? Please post the pic if you can!
I found the best way to choose china was to pick something classic, that can be accented easily and goes with everything. That's why I picked Lenox Hannah, I didn't care for the accent plate that goes with it, but with a silver charger it will be beautiful!!

Re: Which CHINA pattern did you choose?
My mother wanted me to have her china. Can you beleive they still make the pattern (my parents have been married 41 years!)
Luckily I like the patern very simple it is called Lenox Tuxedo (Ivory with gold trim) All they changed was the Tea cup. SO my parents got me those. Now I have the old school tea cup (which looks more like a tea cup) and the new cofee cups
I love it. Will make it a tradition now and pass it down to one of my children.

We picked Grand Manor Platinum by Gorham. Actually, FI picked it out and I fell in love with it. Very simple, goes with all table linens, color schemes, etc.

Mine is Kilbarry Platinum by Waterford.... Simple - yet elegant...
I picked Noritake's Sweet Leilani (my DH wouldn't let me pick anything too pink). But I just saw the new Vera Wang Duchesse china (with either pink or champagne trim) and if that was out when I registered, I would have gotten that no matter what. It's gorgeous!
got mikasa italian country side pattern. good dishes but not china

Re: Which CHINA pattern did you choose?
No china here either - i'm not the 'entertaining' type and have no use for something so expensive that I wouldn't really use. Rather have good everyday dishes. These are the 'everyday' that i registered for.
Below is the pattern I would like to register for, but FH and I haven't come to an agreement yet on whether we should even register for china. We'll see!
