I need opinions ladies!! I'm stuck, we are doing a winter wedding probably with a snowflake theme. Once I can figure out the color, I can do so much more.... My biggest question that I've been tossing back and forth is what colors do you think would probably look best to use in Jan? I'm stuck between like a a brighter red, burgundy red, and champagne/gold tones, or navy blue with shades of lighter blues, silvers, and whites or hunter green with silvers and whites....
Obviously like every bride I want it to look beautiful, wintery, but not Christmasy.
I found dresses/flowers/ideas to be able to do with any of the color schemes, I'm just not sure which would look best. THANKS!!

Re: Which Color
I like the idea of icy blues with silver & white... it will be a very winter wonderland feeling.

Re: Which Color
Well, I love baby blue. I think baby blue and white makes me feel warm and cozy inside in the winter time. Dark red/navy/hunter green make me want to hibernate for the winter bc they aren't vibrant colors. JMO!!!

Re: Which Color
Since you are going for a snowflake theme, I would go with silver & blue (they look so pretty together) Check out LoveRocks profile. She did a snowflake theme too.

I think so too! I'm jealous FH wanted early spring but we got engaged ontop of a mountain snowboarding... how perfect a snowflake would have been!!

Re: Which Color
I think you could go in either direction. We had a blue-toned wedding and loved it.
But I think you could do a gorgeous champaign/gold tone wedding that would just pop! I wouldn't go too heavy on other colors aside from those two, but that's just a personal preference. But doing things in golds and champaign would give a wonderful warm glow to everything.

Re: Which Color
I think the burgundy/gold combination is great for winter! Any of those combinations would look good, but with the icy blue and silvers, you have to worry a bit about if it will make the room look cold. Not cold temperature, but cold sterile! The gold and burgundy colors are rich and warm, so you would never have to worry about that with them.
I'm also extremely biased, because I'm doing burgundy and ivory with golden accents!

Re: Which Color
I said green. It's an unusual color choice, I think it will get some notice.
