....pashmina would go best with my BM's dresses? They'll wear them if they get chilly- I'm not planning on any professionally posed shots of them (unless they look REEEALLY great ) I had originally planned on black (because they could wear them again I figured), but my mom thinks a lighter grey color would look better. The colors we were discussing are listed in the pic.....
The pic of the BM dress is kind of dark. It's hard to tell. I think black is always safe and elegant. Plus you're right, they can wear them again.

I would stick with black b/c it is very elegant with anything and they can use them again

if you're not planning on any posed shots with them, choose black that way they can wear them again.
the other colors won't match exactly and might look 'off'

I think black for sure. Trying to match will be almost impossible

Either Black or Azure looks pretty close.

Black is probably your best bet. It will certainly match, and the girls can use them again.

I hate to do this, but I don't think a pashmina would match with those dresses at all. I'm a personal fan of the pashmina, but I honestly think with your BM dresses, that the pashmina would dress it down.
I don't like the way the two materials blend together - they don't. Have you considered using their extra fabric and having them made into shawls?
It looks like those dresses are satin, and IMHO, satin and cashmere/pashmina don't blend well. We have to get shawls for our BM's b/c the church doesn't allow them to show their shoulder's and instead of going wtih pashmina's as I originally wanted, we ended up going with a sheer chiffon to match their satin dresses. We put pashmina's against the satin and it looked terrible.
Sorry...it's just my honest opinion.

I agree - I would stick with the black. The azure looks close but it's hard to tell. Black is safe.

I think that the Azure matches the best....but the girls may get more use out of the black and silver.

black... and if they are not going to be used for pics, and only to stay warm, then I woudn't worry about the fabrics matching. Its a nice gift your BM's will be able to use again.

I like the mahogany color. Its a deep color for that time of year. I'm getting married in october and my girls are wearing wine. Nice autum, rustic tones

I agree - the two materials don't go together. Do what I did...I went to a fabric store in the city and found an EXACT match to the material my bm dress is made out of....I bought a lot of it and am having it made into shawls. good luck!
