Which Date as Anniversary?

We actually got married last year (07-07-06) in a totally private civil ceremony and our 'real wedding' is on 07-28... we're not sure which date to use as our anniversary... we didn't exchange rings or vows or anything at the civil ceremony, pretty much just said yes, signed some papers and 5 min later we were married, so I'm kind of leaning towards celebrating on the 28th...not sure though, what do you think?

Could you get 2 gifts if you do both?

JK I would probably use the 28th too, more meaningful, in front of family and friends, vows and all that stuff, but congrats on your upcoming faux anniversary, also ask carolinp, I think she is in the same boat!

lol yea I wish I could get 2 gifts... FH just found out the other day that we're supposed to give each other gifts on our Anniversary... guess they don't do that in Austria... but just like Valentines day its something he's going to have to get used to

yea, both dates are special but I kind of feel liek the 28th will be more memorable... and will kind of finalize everything... and plus thats the date we'll have in our rings so when our memories start to go we can always peek at the rings

I just don't want to totally ignore the 7th though...hmmm...
