So originally we liked the night before thanksgiving, but talking to people, it may be a headache with travel and people cooking for the next day. Which day do you think is better, the sunday before or after thanksgiving?

Sunday after...the sunday before I am always thinking of ten billion things that I've gotta get done for thanksgiving.

I'm gonna go with everyone else and say Sunday after!
If you're a guest at a wedding, at least you know that the next day, EVERYONE at work is coming back from a celebratory weekend and everyone will be operating at less than 100%

hmm...i think sunday before. everyone's around the sunday before, but people may be traveling already for thanksgiving so they'll be away for the sunday after.

Sunday after thanksgiving. Cuz people already have a few days off before the wedding and it gives oot guests a chance to travel .... Jmo

I think Sunday before b/c a lot of ppl might be away the Sunday after.

I'm going to say the Sunday before. A lot of people travel or have people staying with them Thanksgiving weekend. It's always a hassel to get home on Sunday, nevermind rush because you have someones wedding. People are usually exhausted that weekend too. Ending a busy weekend with a wedding usually stresses people out.

Agreed.
I, for one, always like ending the holiday weekends on a relaxing note, and to have to end the holiday weekend with a wedding would be really annoying to me. If you were going to have it on the Saturday after Thanksgiving, I'd probably be ok with it.

Before. Travel the Sunday after could be very expensive and also could be a hassle for some.

Before. People make plans for Thanksgiving. They usually stay at family through the weekend.
So if its after they have to travel to go home, then travel to the wedding.
I think before is best.

After....The sunday before is when I start preparing for thanksgiving, getting everything together, its such a crazy weekend.
