We are thinking of going to look for BM dresses this weekend... I have some people coming from the city and I live in Queens... which is the best to go to? As far as customer service, selection, etc? I was thinking of perhaps Nassau or Queens if there's a good one?

i went to that one for BM dresses and the employees were kind of dumb.
i told the lady there that i saw a dress on the DB site and it's long in the back and short in the front .... after 5 mins of describing it, the lady goes 'oh, i know exactly which dress you mean ... it's the one that's long in the back and short in the front, right?' um .... yeah
but other than that, they were fine
oh, they also told my MOH to order 2 sizes up from the dress she tried on even though it fit perfectly (they said it got stretched out from being worn so much) ... when the dress came in waaaay too big, they charged her almost $100 to take it in .... so just watch out for that little thing too

I've heard that the color palats are the same or you don't have to worry as much if your girls order from different stores. Thats one of the PROS of DB.

I got my wedding dress there... Avoid going there on weekends since you'll be waiting for other brides/bm's. Best time to go is during the day during office hours - you will have all the attention of the staff there.

I don't think DB people are known for their expertise in the industry but I had no problem. I second not going on the weekend unless you are okay being on your own. I got my gown at the source mall and Marie was my saleswoman and was very helpful.

I got my girls dresses from the one in LIC and it was really good, no issues and the dresses came in less than 3 weeks
