would be best for alterations. I got my dress at the DB in N.H. but I am having it altered in NY. Westbury I've been to once years ago and they ****** then. Any better?>
I got my dress at DB too but did not take it to DB for alterations because I've heard mixed reviews. I took my dress to My Daughter's Wedding in Great Neck - they accept outside dresses. I know a few girls who've already gone to this location and rave about the lady there.
Based on the reviews I've seen here, it looks like Massapequa is the best for alterations. My alterations are being done at the Lake Grove location, and I personally would not recommend it.
Massapequa Had my dress altered there as well as a BM dress for my brothers wedding. They are great there.
I went to the one of Massapequa to get my dress altered and they did a great job. Fits like a glove. I'm in a friend's wedding out of state, and I took my BM dress to My Daughter's Wedding to get it taken it (that's it) and they charged me almost the price of the dress to do it because it's an outside dress. I'm sure it will be good, but it as WAY more expensive than I thought it should be.
