Which dishes do you like better?

Oops I already registered for a set....and I'm pretty sure my mom already bought them! Although she'd never admit it....

I registered for these:

And then when I visited BB&B today to look at cookware (Mom thought what I registered for was outrageously expensive)...I ran into these:

I never thought I'd turn into such a registry PITA! Is it worth even switching these and having my mom exchange?

Thanks all!

Re: Which dishes do you like better?

They're both beautiful, but my personal preference is #2 because I am into lighter colors...

Re: Which dishes do you like better?

ooh i've seen both of these and really like them. i am a blue person myself, but i like the lighter ones too. it's a tough decision. have you gotten any of the blue one yet? not that it would be a big deal to exchange them. i would go with the purple one, only b/c i know i'll have too much blue in my kitchen and should change it up a bit!

I love the vibrancy of the blue in #1! That one got my vote! Either are lovely- so you can't go wrong!!

I love #2 . But I am partial because they are my dishes. By the way both sets are the same price.

It's so silly for me to do a poll when ultimately I have to live with them! Just curious though.

FH likes #1...he loves the 'lunar swirl' (his words, not mine) in the middle. I think sometimes he just deliberately goes the opposite of what I want. HelenZ knows EXACTLY what I'm talkin' bout!

I like #1...they are made by Sango right? I have the brown ones....They are so strong..I've had them for years and they are still like brand new.

Re: Which dishes do you like better?

Our friends have #1 and their really pretty in person and seem to hold up well- they've had them for a year and a half now and there in good shape- no chips in the color or anything.

Re: Which dishes do you like better?

Thats funny...the first one is the exact same one I registered for..and the first gift purchased off my registry..so of course I voted for #1

Blue is my favorite color so I picked #1.

Yes I DEFINITELY know what you're talking about! Mike & Brett probably should've both been lawyers....they just love to debate! I can dig the lunar swirl....but I also kind of like the contrast of # 2 w/ the darker rim and lighter center, so in other words, I'm no help!!.....and btw, is this just a coincidence they're both blue, or is this yet another aspect of the Yankees theme?? Just kidding!!! I just had to go there!!
