which do you think would is cheaper

FH and i are handing out ice cream scoops for the wedding....they come boxed.

we can either buy wrapping paper and wrap them all, or buy jordan almonds and little tulle circles and fill the scoop with almonds....

which one ya think? at this point, we need every

i think wrapping them would be cheaper......you only have to buy one thing, whereas with the almond method, you have to buy 2 things....and ribbon....

would 5 lbs of them be enough? i found them on ebay for 5.50 for 5 lbs. of them!
and you pay about 7 bucks to shipt them....

how may favors do you have?
i don't know if 5 lbs of almonds would be enough.....
you also have to factor ribbon in.
a roll of wrapping paper would be around the same price as either the almonds or the tulle

it sounds like you want to go with the almonds and tulle
i don't think either one would be a huge expense.....so why not do whichever one you prefer.,...is saving $10 really going to make a huge impact on your budget?

Given the costs you mentioned, I think wrapping just the spoon part with the almonds and tulle would be cheaper, and MUCH easier than individually wrapping each box.

he's like...i'll do whatever you want to do! we were originally going to order the candy hearts and have them personalized but it was like 200 bucks to do that.
then someone on the boards suggested sprinkles in the tulle cirlcles and then tie the circles into the scoop....

just not sure what to do. OH and then i of course have to make a favor tag

i personally would wrap the boxes...but i'm a huge wrapping nerd and love to do it (i can come by and do it for you if you want ), so wrapping them would be fun for me.
But i think the tulle/candy might be more decorative.....
although, wrapping them means that your guests all get a little presetnt o unwrap - and who doesn't like unwrapping presents????
