Earlier I polled on colors for my e-party and now I'm just going to ask for an opinion.
Dress #1 I have always loved. It matched my Tiffany Blue color scheme beautifully (though we are not incorporating that into the e-party at all!) I got to wear it once when I lived in Cali a few years back so no one here has ever seen it & originally I thought about wearing it for my rehearsal dinner. Now I'm considering it because it's a little dressier than what I purchased.
Dress #2- I love and I want to wear but I don't think it's dressy enough but originally I purchased it because I was thinking outdoor, waterfront engagement party. I don't know if it's appropriate to use for a shower dress if I don't use it.
Which is better for the party? It's June 6th, again it's outdoors on the water.
Also, feel free to weigh in about whether or not either are well suited for the shower or rehearsal dinner.

i like #2 more for your shower. JMO, but I am not crazy about #1, its cute, but I would personally go with something with less cleave.

The cleavage thing gets me every time but I have cleavage in everything I'm a FFF. :( Makes dress shopping very difficult. I walk out of every fitting room saying 'does this make my boobs look too big and everyone echoes 'Chrissi your boobs are too big' :( I'd have to rock a turtleneck not to show any at all. It's one of the reasons I only looked at dresses that wouldn't show any at all.

Maybe I will wear the brown dress for my engagement pics... that way I feel like I can still use it.

hehe, me too, i have the same problem with dresses and bathing suits.. but i think for your e-party and perhaps seeing some of FH's extended family for the 1st time, they may be overwhelmed by it. I dunno.

That's always something I struggle with is I get overly self conscious but its so hard to find dresses that hide them. Luckily anyone in his family who I have no met, I'm meeting at his niece's enormous 1st birthday party next weekend which is nice because it takes the pressure off. I'm planning on dressing really conservatively and just straightening my hair as well.

I hear you. I love being blessed with big boobs, but it's so hard to shop sometimes.

ITA My plan is to get a reduction but I don't want one til I'm done having kiddos. I just went upstairs and told FH I'm thinking about buying another dress because I'm not sure if it's an appropriate level of cleavage and he sighed and I asked what and he said, you're gonna buy another dress and it's going to look the same and then are you going to be upset and I guess the answer is IDK...
