I love the sleeves on the 2nd one, but I love the train and style of the 1st one better.... so I'm gonna say #1

I love dress #1, although dress #2 is beautiful too and great for January.....I agree with you about being hesitant with #2 b/c there's no work on the bottom of the dress.
so I'd vote for #1 b/c you can always get one of those white winter shawls or something to wear outside...and when your dancing at the reception, the sleeves could make you hot.

#1 I like the lightness of the skirt. THe sleeves are really pretty on the second one, but sleeves seem so constricting to me.
