which hotel in Maui....?

Hi!

We're in the process of planning our honeymoon and we aren't sure which hotel we should stay at in Maui. We're planning to stay at the Hyatt in Kaui for 5 nights so a travel agent is looking into the Hyatt island-hopper package. Has anyone else stayed at Hyatts on both islands? Did you feel like you were missing something by staying at the same type of hotel on both islands?

Other hotels we're considering are the Four Seasons, the Westin, or the Kea Lani. Any advice???

The Hyatts are so different on each island. You save so much money by not having to pay for breakfast- that it is worth it. They are both really nice.

We did. We loved both and didn't feel they were the same at all. On Maui we liked our room (but had a better view in Kuaui) but liked the breakfast MUCH better in Maui. The grounds on both hotels were beautiful but Kuaui was larger and there were like 5 pools including a salt water pond with sand. It really was beautiful.

Having breakfast included was AWESOME. The bill would have been $45 everyday.

Hi Mindy- I just got back from Maui and HIGHLY RECOMMEND the Grand Wailea which is next door to the Four Seasons & the KeaLani - it's gorgeous and the service was amazing! Both the Four Seasons and the KeaLani are really nice and very quiet. If you enjoy an amazing pool complex- river pool, water slides, waterfalls. swim-up bars, an adult only pool, then check out the Grand Wailea- their spa is the #1 Spa in the world- it's insane!

we stayed at starwood hotels on both islands...Princeville in Kauai and Kapalua Bay in Maui...both were beautiful.

We stayed at the Hyatt in Kauai but at the Fairmont Kea Lani in Maui. It's right next to the Grand wailea and 4 seasons. I recommend this hotel to everyone I know and whoever has stayed loved it. It is absolutely amazing!!
