Which invitation do you like better?

Okay so I was doing the DIY route with the invitations, but have now decided I dont want the extra stress. SO FH and I went to look at invitations on Sunday. We went to Blue Tulip in Glendale and they had gorgeous invitations. Ones I loved were about 300 out of our price range. But here are two that are actually below (and are cheaper than if I DIYed).

FH really likes the elaborate design one. He says it looks Christmasy without being obvious.

To give my own touch, and since I already bought soo much ribbon. I'm going to tie ribbon around the invites and inserts. To give it a different touch.

hmmm, i'm torn. but I do want to add that if cost is an def. issue, keep in mind that the tea length one (the red one) will cost more to mail because of it's shape. Not sure how much more, it might not be a lot, but it is more. I think I like the first one now that I look more.

hmmm, i'm torn. but I do want to add that if cost is an def. issue, keep in mind that the tea length one (the red one) will cost more to mail because of it's shape. Not sure how much more, it might not be a lot, but it is more. I think I like the first one now that I look more.

Thanks... The red one is about 50 more than the other one to begin with. Hmm... I'll have to ask the woman who helped me when I go back about the shipping.

Yeah, it's like when you get the large square invites too, those and tea length are more than a normal wedding 2 oz stamp...it might only be a couple more cents, it might be a whole nother stamp, I'm not quite sure. Has nothing to do with the weight, it's the shape.

i love that blue tulip. atlas park right?? DH then FH wouldn't stand around while I flipped through books; he looked so bored. so then i was like, F you (nice right?) i'm picking out the invites myself. I ended up ordering them online, but they had nice stuff there.
