OK, so right now these are the two invites my FH are deciding between. My FH really likes the square one (he likes the blue /brown color scheme). I like the brown one..
pros of the brown: it is two seperate pieces of cardstock, so i think it looks more expensive..
they are actually $200 cheaper!!
cons of the brown:
I have to put the invites together (glue the black cardstock to the brown top layer)
pros of the square one:
It's blue and brown, the colors we wanted
we can word the invite any way we choose (because our name doesn't stand out like the brown one)
cons:
the brown looks kind of grayish in the sample we got in the mail
and its only one piece of paper.. i dont think the cost justifies the quality.
i like the blue one, but honestly it doesnt sound like you really like either of them 100% i would keep looking jmo

i love # 1 but the and the 2nd one is 200 dollars cheaper wow but keep looking if u r not sure yet

yea... invites have honestly been the hardest part of wedding planningso far ! lol we can't make up our minds!!
if i had my way (or no budget) i'd want a bright blue like my BM dresses .. everything comes in light blue or navy. i went to a site .. i think it was called mygatsby or something, they had great invites, but out of our price range. we're looking to stay under 500.

They are both very pretty! I like the first one! I find myself always looking at the square/rectangular invites.
Actually, My mom and I were just casually looking at invitations, and she mentioned the square ones, are usually more expensive with postage, but I am sure when it comes down to me picking our invites I will probably end up loving the most expensive ones - that's normally how it ends up for me!
I will be getting married in June, when is a good time to buy the invites? I am now thinking maybe I should start looking into our invitations soon.

I also heard that square invites are $$$ to mail, so make sure you add that to your consideration. I personally like the rectangular ones. I also think you should continue to look around, it doesn't seem like you are convinced on either.

Personally, I prefer the second one. I just think it looks more elegant.
But if you're unsure between both, I'd keep looking until you find something you love.
