Depends on what you want really.

Both are great. Personally, I feel the Pathfinder is more capable as far as actual offroading.

I don't own either of them, but I've heard nothing but good things about the Pathfinder. Then again, I haven't really heard much at all about the pilot, so I don't know if that's a good or bad thing.

Own a pilot. Best vehicle we ever owned. Go off roading all the time. It's marvelous! A friend of ours had the Pathfinder. He sold it and got a Pilot!

The new Pathfinder is a dream! I love this truck. The Pilot was good too, but didn't look tough enough for me. I like it to look tough.

As far as the engine, the honda has the superior engine in its class. Hope that helps.

I personally like the Honda Pilot. After owning a couple of Nissans, and getting my current one from Smithtown Nissan. I will never buy or lease one from them ever again.

I bought my car in august of 2003. Its a 2004 nissan se-r sentra. I still have the we owe you list that they never completed. They have to repaint hood,front and back bumber. They gave me the car damaged. They never went over the car with me, and I never noticed the damage until I got home. I took 3 months to get my fog lights,and spoiler, the owe me a passenger side mirror. If I was to buy another one, I will go to westbury nissan. Their service center is quick, they wash my car, they are accomodating. They give you a ride if you need it. I stopped using the service center in smithtown. They are so slow there.

I like the Honda Pilot better. I think it's bigger too.

see i'm asking bc one of my bms is prego, and currently she has a nissan sentra, and her dh has a honda accord....they want to sell both...and get an suv,
so now they're torn btwn the pathfinder and pilot

I have a friend at Smithtown that came from Amity. I plan on using Westbury Nissan for service though since I live closer. Sorry to hear about your problems with them.

just being a honda owner, if i were to get one, i would have no qualms about going with a honda pilot. loooove honda!

I AGREE...smithtonw nissan are such scammers!

I have a QX4 (the Infiniti Pathfinder) and I LOVE IT! It's an awesome SUV. I already have approx 80,000 miles on it (and I do drive like a nut case) and it's holding up very well...

I test drove both when looking for a SUV and I definitely liked the Pilot better. It drove better and was much more roomier inside.
I also LOOOOOVE the fact that Honda has the Navagation System!!! I honestly can't live without mine, so I'd say that is the best selling point.

I would not use Westbury Nissian for anything they are crooks.


ETA: I like the Honda Pilot better anyway. Can NEVER go wrong with a honda I have a 94 Civic and plan on owning it for another 11 years.
