should i order my save the dates or should i go to staples and by all the materials to make them? which would save me money?

150 save the dates looks to be running me about 400 after postage etc. I'm not sure how it is at the craft stores. (My DIY keep costing me a fortune... but I might just stink at bargain shopping )

I made my magnets for about $30 DIY. It would have cost us over $200 at the very least to order them.

I got all my magnets and post cards through Vista Print and it cost me @ $20.

I bought paper at staples (the cards that you print on ) it was very cheap but am regretting now not doing magnets. Keep in mind that you need to figure your list so mine for example was 225 but really only need about 110 because it's one per couple...not one each. You could get some cute magnets for less then $100-

vista print is a good place to order them from and not have to do it yourself while not spending too much on them. However, if you are crafty and dont mind putting in the time and effort into making them, then i say go for it. the thought of DIY projects make me break out in hives, but i completely admire and envy all the girls that are that talented!

I got my save the dates from Shutterfly--which is Target's photo place. I did it all online and was able to do a picture one. They came out great and were cheap.

We just got 82 of them, plus attachment cards and envelopes and it was about $120.
It's probably cheaper to do it yourself but I would've spent so much time on them it wasn't worth it for me.

08er crashing....sorry!
We did our STD diy. It cost with postage $70.75. Business cards from Vista Print, and magnets from Ebay. Postage 41 cents. It was next to no work at all and everyone got a kick out of them. STD's are great and very useful...but don't break the bank with them.
Just a few words of advice from an old married lady!!!

i did mine on shutterfly and then bought magnet tape and it was like 10 for the photo and 2 for the magnet tape. it was so cheap
