I read on MSN earlier that Empire Strikes back is the best.
I think for me it's Return of the Jedi...it might've been because I was finally old enough to kind of understand when it came out? I don't know it's just the one that stays with me the most...

The one before this one that just came out, I think it's attack of the clones. It was definitely romantic too which I like.

i think this is hard to answer...only because 4-6 are classics and 1-3 are so hi-tech with graphics....
Empire Strikes back is a great moive I saw Sith last night... could of been done better but it was worth the wait

I was a senior in HS when the original trilogy was re-released in theatres and my boyfriend at the time dragged me kicking and screaming to see the original Star Wars. Seeing it on the big screen totally got me hooked! I ended up making him see Empire 2 times in the theatres!
I think Empire is strongest both action-wise and emotionally... my heart broke into a thousand pieces when Han was frozen!

Empire's a good movie, but you have to get through the snow scene, which is no easy feat. it puts me to sleep!

Before I even read the post, I selected 'The Empire Strikes Back'. Loved it!
I saw 3 last night - it was good, definately the best out of 1 - 3.

I'm with you USUK - I like Jedi best. I think I love the Ewoks. What can I say, I'm a sucker for cute cuddlies DH - who is a total Star Wars freak (well, I shouldn't say TOTAL - we haven't seen the new one yet - but only cause I said I'd see it on Saturday when his friend comes into town OR yesterday.) Anyway, he likes to tell me Jedi is the weakest of the original 3 and he loves Empire. I find the snow scenes make me sleepy too.

Is it really that good? I've heard a lot of great things about it, but since it has the same two actors (Natalie & Hayden) I have my doubts. I thought they were terrible in the last one. Well, moslty I thought Hayden was bad. Natalie, I thought, just wasn't as good as I expected from her.

I seriously think they gave Hayden some serious acting lessons, because I thought he was a MILLION times better in the new movie and because he was so much better, Natalie was better too. She probably came across as a bad actress in Episode II, because Hayden was so bad.

I can't answer this poll. I loved all the movies. The only one I didn't like that much was Episode II, but mainly because the acting was so poor.

Seriously, I thought it was someone else playing Padme, because she actually didn't have a monotone voice like in the first two.

same!! Revenge of the Sith is giving Jedi a run for its money for the place of my absolute favorite. I went to the midnight premiere on Wednesday (well technically Thursday) and it was beyond amazing, I LOVED IT! my little brother somehow scored a director's copy of it off the internet so I'm actually watching it right now lol but I want to go see it in the theater again.

God as a kid, youd think my parents had 2 little boys at Xmas bc our Xmas tree was covered w/ toys from Star Wars. We were NUTS over it. (BTW it was me and my sister. No boys)
I have to say Jedi was a GREAT film and I love Empire too
