Which 'look' do you girls like better? Clinique vs. Smashbox?

Which 'look' do you girls like better? Clinique vs. Smashbox?

so, I started looking through my pics and came across the pics of my first trial with Smashbox back in August...just out of curiousity, which do you like better? the first two are Smashbox, the second two are Clinique.

Please tell me why you prefer one over the other. thanks!

I think i like the first one better. They both look nice.

2nd one I feel it looks nice, but u don't have much m/u on ur forehead (just on your cheeks and eyes).

1st one - looks more even.

I like the first one. I think it looks more natural and really brings out your eyes.

I'm going to have to agree - Smashbox. Just looks like there's more flawless application and bringing out your features more.

it also has a lot to do with the lighting...the Smashbox pics were taken at my apt, with better lighting and the blue walls, my eyes pop (I like to look good in my house LOL)

the clinique pics were taken at fh's house, with poor lighting...so it's really kind of unfair- the scales are already tipped. sort of speak.

in person, the clinique make up looked better to me. this is funny.

I like the smashbox better, too - I like the lip color better, it's a bit lighter and glossier and I like the eyes better as well.

I agree. There's more of a 'shine' in the smashbox. The clinique one looks too muted to me.

I agree. There's more of a 'shine' in the smashbox. The clinique one looks too muted to me.

I hate defending or refuting, but part of that is my fault. we wiped off the gloss and toned down the lips so fh wouldn't see it all.

all i have on is the wiped off lipstick and some blisex.

this was dumb. I shouldn't have posted if I new I liked the Clinique better....

LOL- that's just it...I know I liked the Clinique one better when she was done...so now I am kicking myself for even posting a comparison...my friend just happened to see it and said she like the SB one too, so I figured I'd give it a whirl and see.

anyway, I am definitely sticking with Clinique, mostly b/c I am fully confident that if I wanted to go lighter and dewier and all of that, she'd be more than capable.
