would you got to in Maui? I ve heard that the old Lahaina luau doesnt include fire dancing which we want so are there any others we should look into? We are staying at the Hyatt- is that one a good choice? Thanks!

I bought the revealed book for Maui and they review old lahaina as being the best one so thats the one we booked.

we were gonna do the Hyatt 1...but i was wondering if they do any out on the beach?! The 1 at the hyatt is like a stage w/ tons of longggggg tables! not sure if i like that idea anymore

We went to the old Lahaina luau and honestly were not really that impressed.
Maybe our expectations were too high b/c people had raved about it.
We stayed at the Hyatt, and although we didn't attend that luau, we got the feeling through hearing parts of it that it would have done the trick.

Personally I would prefer to go to one that has the fire dancing even though that is not traditionally hawaiian. We went to a luau on Kauai that had fire dancing and loved it.
If my FH and I ever go back to Maui, we'd go to the Feast at Lele before going to any other luau. It's NOT buffet style and you can sit at your own table with your significant other - you have waiter service and something like 5 courses, and I hear the show is VERY nice. It's a little more expensive than the Hyatt luau, only slightly more than the Old Lahaina Luau, but I hear it's worth it because the food is good etc.
