Which mp3 player would you rather have?

Which mp3 player would you rather have?

I am trying to pick out an mp3 player for my sister. She likes to run/walk so I thought the ipod mini would be good for that. I have the 15GB one made by Dell and it is a little big for running but I can still use it. I am trying to decide which one to get. The mini size is more convienant but the 15BG one can hold so much more music.
They are the same price BTW.

i said the 15 gb one, you are getting SO much more space on it and it is still pretty tiny!

I have an older version of the iPod, and one of the problems with it is that it only has 20 minutes of skip protection, which is a problem for running (i.e., I can only run for 20 mins and then it turns off). I think the minis are based on different hardware, so they may not have the same problem with skip protection, but you should definitely find out (or possibly they've added more skip protection).

Of course, if your sis runs on a treadmill, none of this is an issue b/c she can just stick her iPod in the cupholder (what I do at the gym). But for running outside, lack of skip protection is a definite problem.

I do love my iPod, though - great gift!

Thanks!
I have the Dell DJ (which is a copy of the ipod so I don't think it is any better) and it is fine running and rollerblading for me SO I assuming the ipod will be better?

julz - I checked the Apple website, and both the mini and regular iPod have 25 mins of skip protection.

We can run a 5K in 22 minutes so that should be fine
