I wanted to get a poll to see what everyone is doing for their bridesmaids dress length...
I know I have time but I am so back and forth with the whole idea
I really like the Silk Shantung/duiponi material.
what are your opinions? I am having a night wedding and people say to have a longer length because its more formal although my wedding will be in the summer...i like the whole summer look with a shorter one
Cocktail Length
Tea Length
Floor Length

Re: Which one are you doing?
hey, I am doing floor length...I love the tea length and was going to use them but then I felt it was not formal enough for my wedding and the girls felt the same way. Go with what you really love tho!!!!!!

Re: Which one are you doing?
i plan on having a night wedding. also I don't like the idea of different hems for all the lengths of their dresses if they were cocktail length. I like uniformity.

My FI would totally agree. I see what you both mean now.
FYI: If you want to do floor length and you are still worried about the heat, go with chiffon material rather than silk/satin. It's lighter weight and breathable. I have seen alot of gowns that are chiffon and look just as good.

Re: Which one are you doing?
Floor legnth. It's a Saturday night wedding and IMO it's more appropriate/formal.
I love the tea and cocktail legnth dresses but what would concern me is the hemlines on all the different girls. Unless they get them altered together is is no way to really guarantee that their hemlines will be the same.

Re: Which one are you doing?
We're doing floor length........all my girls are such different sizes that we agreed floor lenght would be the most flattering on everyone!

Re: Which one are you doing?
I am going to be the minority. I love tea length and cocktail length dresses and I think it would completely appropriate for a Saturday night in the summer. I think it would look fabulous.

Re: Which one are you doing?
I prefer floor length, but I'm also getting married in Nov., so I'm sure my girls will appreciate that!
