Which one should I use for my new dress tag??? WITH POLL

I placed the order for my new dress tag (dress patch) through The Garter Maker and now I have to email her my monogram file.

Which do you think would look best as my dress tag? She has a whole bunch of satin fabric colors, so any of these are possible.

This will be sewn into my dress. Thanks ladies!

I love your monograms!! They are beautiful! I voted for #1, but any of them would look fabulous!!

Any of them would be great, but I like # 1 the best. I would be worried about the blue showing through. but then again, I'm paranoid about almost everything these days, so take that with a block of salt!

It's something some ladies get to have sewn into their wedding dress - I like it because we'll have our names and date inside my dress and it also works as my 'something blue' for the day (either the blue of the 'Q' or the blue background).

I know, that's what I was worried about with the blue background But I figured the dress has so many layers maybe it won't show?

Are you planning on using it as your something blue? If so, then I would vote for #3. How do you make those monograms?

I figured either way it would be my something blue (the white background ones still have my married last name initial in blue).

I made my monograms in PowerPoint

wow it took me forever to decide! i like them all really, but i picked #3 cause if i see the dress from afar, i want to be able to see the blue and know that it's my dress tag that's sown in i dunno that's just me though good luck!

Well, if you have multiple layers and the fabric itself isn't that thin, then you should be fine. Seriously, go with whatever one you like the best. It could totally work as your 'something blue' if you didn't already have a blue something. you just couldnt necessarily show it off if you are asked what your blue something is.
