Okay...So I have narrowed down my photographer list just a bit.....
Right now, I am deciding between -
Thomas Paul Amanda Picone J'Adore Love Kristina Hill
I want very different and creative photojournalistic pictures...I am in the process of scheduling some appointments but in the meantime...
Who would you guys pick out of these??

I have never seen any of those photographers handwork - but I saw that your looking for something 'different and creative' and I just want to throw out my photographer name as she is an up and coming artist who totally gets the different, creative photo journalistic image. She came with me and my husband down to city hall as we eloped and she will be shooting my reception this saturday at chatea la mer. I think she is absolutely amazzing. Her name is Jennifer sosa and I attached a link to her flickr page and blog which may still be under slight construction.
Amanda Picone!! She did my epics and two of my co-workers weddings... she's fantastic to work with (so sweet!) and her photos are beyond gorgeous!
I wish I could have picked her for my wedding but it came down to budget... such a hard decision

LOL...I am pretty sure that I am going to choose between J'Adore & Amanda Picone.... Although, I am meeting with Thomas Paul on Wednesday, but he is an hour and a half from my house!!! And, I am just not too sure about picking a photog that is so far from me!

I haven't met with any photographers yet but I heard that Imagine Studios is pretty good with photojournalism

Wow, well, if you search my name and THomas Paul you'll see me singing his praises everywhere, I looooove his work and he's so reasonably priced.
But, I DO love Amanda Picone's work as well. And J'Adore was on me list as well, but after meeting Tom, I was all set. Tough decision though. All I can tell you is to get the package info from everyone, weight them against how much you love their work and go from there.
I'd see Amanda and Tom first, though.

I am acutally just waiting on Amanda's prices, as I havent received them yet! I am very, very happy with Thomas Paul's prices...and he includes A LOT in his packages....I am so indecisive!!! LOLOL

Jadore!!! You will instantly fall inlove. They take a more personal approach to their pictures and that is why we went with them.

Yeah, I don't think she's gonna beat Tom's package, so it'll come down to whose work you like more and if you like her more, is it worth the price difference to you? I tmight be, and that's fine, but TP had everything I wanted and the price was a super bonus

I didn't see any of those guys. I had an appt w tom paul but cancelled it cuz I fell in love with my photog north island, who's work is unbelievable w reasonable prices. I am also looking for the creative candid photojournalistic work. Fm me for more info, sorry to throw another name at you.

I am the same distance from him and decided to use him. Once you meet him he does everything else by mail so you don't have to drive out there all the time.
