which poem

which poem

so for those of you who dont know my theme is love and our tables are labled by love in different languages so we want to describe that at the place card table by using a poem. but we cant decide between these two. what do you all think

1. Across mountains and the sea, love you will seek, From your country of birth, through the language you speak. Meeting first love, when love does begin, Or meeting new love from feelings with in. Those early days of love, to your love at this time, Brings true meaning to love, from love you will find. Special words of love, from your heart you will speak, Your language in love, to the love one you meet. The translation of Love, from the language you give, Means the same in all Hearts, wherever you live –Anonymous

2. The sounds are all as different
As the lands from which they came
And though our words are all unique
Our hearts are still the same

:
Love in any language
Straight from the heart
Pulls us all together
Never apart
And once we learn to speak it
All the world will hear
Love in any language
Fluently spoken here

I like #2 better and i think its not as overwhelming in length.... people are more likely to actually read it if it shorter i think
