I decided to play around in photoshop today and make some DIY Save The Date postcards so we can take advantage of the Vistaprint sale. (ie: under $4 for 100!)
We're having trouble deciding which photo to use!
We want to send them out soon since we are getting married during the week.
We haven't started looking at photographers and are wondering if we should wait and see if they throw in a free engagement session.
Both of these photos were taken the night we got engaged.
I like both of them... but if u doing E-pics then i would say WAIT until u get those.....

I like them both, but I am waiting for the engagement shoot with the photographer, so the STD picture looks more professional.

I'm sending my save the dates out right away....my wedding is on a holiday weekend and me and fh rnt doing our epics til the summer so didnt wait

I like picture #1. If you are not sure you are going to do e-pics then I would just use that photo and get the sale price.

I would say wait til you have your e-pics if you plan on doing them. If you are doing them now to take advantage of the sale on Vistaprint, trust me they always have those sales going on for postcards... 100 Free, just $4.99 shipping.
I'd say that if at the year mark you still don't have set plans to take e-pics than I would go with #1

I like the 1st one-you did a really good job; but if you're considering doing an engagement shoot; i'd wait and use the pics from there. It might look a little more professional.

I like them both! lol Maybe you should use the one of you two kissing- in the background black as a fade behind the words. So you can hardly see it, like 30 opacity, and use the pic of you guys smiling as the main pic.
I'm a graphic designer so I can get a little photoshop happy lol Shading and fades - I like hahha
I'm scared when it comes to me making my own things because I have a feeling I'll be changing everything a million times before I find what I think I want

They both look great. I like the first one; however, if you're doing E-Pics, then you should use those. That's what I plan on doing.

I like the 1st one, but I say wait until you have epix and then decide. If you still use that photo great, but you may end up with one you like more.
I'm sitting in the same boat right now - I did a mock up that we really like with a professional photo that was taken the night we got engaged, but I'm holding out on the final decision until after we do our epix.

I would wait until you do your e-pics. You have plenty of time. If you decide not to do epics, Vistaprint will definitely have another sale and you can use your own pictures. (I like #1, I like that people can see your faces clearly).

Thanks so much girls!!! We are going to talk to some photographers in the next couple of weeks and see if they can throw in a free E-pic shoot. If not, then we will use pic #1. (FH would be happy, he wants to send them out now! lol)
