when you enter our RH the room is a large rectangle-ish shape. dance floor down the center, FH and I at the head of the dance floor, DJ at the end of the dance floor.
guest tables on either side of the room.
when FACING the HEAD table, which side is the bride and which side is the groom?

when we first sat down i sat on the side that had my family and shaun sat on the side that had his family... a few minutes later someone told us that we had to switch..

thats what I'm trying to figure out, which side each family goes on... I'm thinking of putting my family on the RIGHT side because I think thats the side I'll be on.. but in the church the brides side goes on the LEFT, right?
ETA- I need to learn my left and right lol.. being a dance teacher does this to a person.

DH sat on my right...but my fam was on the his side, and vice versa. LOL
i didnt even think of it till now...when we walked up to the table, they pulled out the chair for me and i sat down. we never thought of who sits on what side

Ummm... hmmm in my church, I was on the left, DH to my right. At the reception, it was opposite. All my family was on the correct side at the church, but at the RH is was backwards. Didn't matter much though!
I'm a little embarassed to admit that I had to look at my photos for this.

My husband sat to my left. I dont know if it matters though. We never sat anyone. I think we sat for one second and ate like three bites!!! grrr i wanted to eat, but my husband never wanted to sit!

We're just going to sit on the sides of the table closest to the sides of the room that our families are sitting at.
