FH and are are going to be sitting at our own table...does it matter who sits on the left and who is on the right. For some reason I feel as if the bride should be on the left and the groom on the right? Does it matter?

Hey there ! On the seating chart Steve gave us he put bride on the left and groom on the right ...we reversed it so if you are facing the glass patio, G& B are facing guests

i sat on the right and dh on the left, well when you are facing the table i was on the left and he was on the right hahaha. The reason we did this is bc the brides parents get table 1 and grooms parents get table 2, normally odds are brides tables and evens are grooms. So we sat on the side our parents were on.
I kept the first few tables according to the whole odd and even thing since it was mostly family. But towards the end i mixed it up

Thats exactly what we did...and i didn't even know that about odd numbers being the brides family!

We have the glass patio room to our back....i didn't want to be under the lower ceiling facing the other way. Plus we are right in front of the center door which i like. I just didn't know who should sit on which side facing the guests.
