which slip?

which slip?

I originally was planning on buying my slip from my salon but I just found out they charge $125 ! So I was looking on Ebay and there seems to be one seller who has a huge selection. I am unsure if I should get an extra full or a super full. I am wearing the private label 1226 gown and have tried it on with a medium A line slip but it really wasn't as poofy as I had wanted. When I went last week to try on my gown after it arrived the woman suggested adding a few pieces of crinoline along the bottom to poof it out (for $20 a piece) with the medium A line slip, but if I get a poofier slip that may not have to be done.I am so not sure on what to do. Do I order one on Ebay and if so which one? Or suck up the price difference and proceed on my salon's suggestions?

I got mine from e-bay, super full one. When I got it, it really looked like the State Puff Marshmallow Man was standing in my computer room . I have to say it was perfect with the dress though when I tried it on. The dress weighed it down a lot so don't worry about it being too much. Your seamstress can also remove some of the material inside if it does turn out to be too much.

Re: which slip?

be careful, though.

I bought a slip on ebay, and it was really nice.... until I tried it on with the gown.

too puffy! It actaully started to pull the box pleats apart a bit... (my dress is likely supposed to be less puffy than yours )

now I need another one. I don't even know what to do with this one... it's brand new and will end up being un-used...
