Which Stemware would you choose? Edited to include pics of china!
I am trying to decide between these two patterns for stemmware... I can't decide if I want to go plainer (the first one Lenox - Aria) or more ornate (Waterford Marquis - Caprice)... What do you think?
Edited because I added a picture of my china below. I inherited it from my Grandmother and I LOVE IT!!! It is soooo girly and ME! It is very ornate though - with the flowers and it has an ornate scrolled edging that you can't see in the pictures.
Starbright suggested the Summer Breeze pattern by Waterford Marquis (in a FM) and I really like that one now also! It is posted as the 3rd pic!
When I went to Fortunoffs with the dish originally, I had picked #1. However, when I went back over the weekend, I wasn't crazy about them - thought they looked too plain. I can't stand making all of these decisions!
Personally, I'd go for the first one. It seems more versatile.

I'd go with the 1st one because it's more traditional

They are both beautiful. I think the first one is my pic, but the second one is very traditional looking. Our toasting flutes are similar to the second set you posted.

I like number 2 but it really depends upon your dishes and silverware.
ETS: I still like #2, but I am not sure that either pattern goes with the dishes. I love your dishes. I heard the general rule is pick one frilly and one plain so, since your dishes are more frilly I would go with a plain type of glassware. Can you bring a plate with you when you go shopping to see what each one looks like next to your dish? That might make it easier for you to decide. I would also try to select your sliver at that time too.

If you're looking for something you can use more frequently, I'd say go with #1. #2's really pretty though.

FH and I have a similar pattern of wine glass as the second one (waterford as well). I love it. I wish that I had more though. We just have two for when we want to drink wine with dinner

i have my mother's china... more than 50 years old but none of her crystal (long story). sorry no pics but in the same line as yours.
I registered for the Caprice by Waterford.
Best to bring the plate to the store and line it up with the flatware and the stemware and try different combos. I know it took me FOREVER until I was bleary eyed... and I already had the china
Keep in mind I also went with Waterford because they make their patterns for a very long time and if you need replacement glasses 15 or 20 years down the road... Can't say the same for Vera Wang, Kate Spade etc. they very well will change patterns a lot sooner.
