the 1st picture is of my dress with a fingertip length veil. the one in the picture sits higher than I will have mine. I actually want it to sit lower like the cathedral length veil in the 2nd picture but I want to know what length would look best with my dress which is mostly fitting the whole way down with a trumpet skirt?
I have the same shape dress and I am wering a cathedral length veil. My train isn't very long and I wanted to go for the dramatic look. HTH!!!

A cathedral veil would stand out nicely with the trumpet skirt - there's not alot of dress for it to get lost in.

I actually went today and looked at a cathedral length veil only to realize the one in the 2nd picture is actually a chapel length. The place I went only had cathedral in stock and I tried it with my dress and didn't like it as much. I actually just exchanged my fingertip veil for another fingertip that I liked better. I probably would have gone with a chapel length if they had one in stock but it's exactly 1 week before my wedding and I can't be bother with the little stuff.
