Which vendors are you providing meals to?

Which vendors are you providing meals to?

I have the photographers, band, and a bridal attendant. Should I order meals for all of them? That's like an additional 13 people!

I planned on providing meals for the photographers & dj, but I didn't know about the bridal attendant.

YOu usually dont feed the bridal attendant, but its up to you. I am feeding my videographer and photographer and DJ.

BUt you can think of it this way, feed whoever is with you ALL day. The band is just with you for 4-5 hours unlike your videographer and photographer who are with you all day

You should feed ALL your vendors. The Bridal attendant too, (if you hired her seperate from the hall)

I am providing meals for all of my vendors (DJs (2), photographer and videographer (2)).

I plan on providing meals for all my vendors - photographer, photojournalist, videographer, band, wedding coordinator and whoever else is with my all evening at the hall.

we aer feeding all vendors....Dj and Ass't, 2 photographers and that's it...no videoographer

Your banquet manager will let you know who you have to provide meals for. For us at the Woodbury CC, if we used a vender that was on their list of recommended venders the meal was covered by the country club. If we used a vender outside of the list we had to cover half of the meal.

We are also feeding all the vendors, except the bridal attendants, as they are provided by the hall.

Seriously, I wouldn't want to work all day and not eat, and I wouldn't expect my vendors to either.

I feel it's only right to do that. My hall charges 1/2 price for vendor meals. Now, my DJ's are starting at 9pm so maybe they won't want anything that late, or maybe they will. I'm not going to say they cannot. Ask your hall if they charge 1/2 price for their meals.

Actually, your band is with you all day as well. There is travel time, set-up time, break down time. . . .it all adds up. They don't just get to an affair and immediately start playing for their alloted 4-5 hours.

Feed everyone - a fed vendor is a happy vendor.

I fed all of my vendors...even the valet parkers (which I had to hire separately).

All the vendors that are not just deliveries, ie. band, photo, video, etc.

Believe it or not the band has a long day, too usually... if your party is 5-10, they are working at least 4-11, if not longer...and its HARD work.. they need a meal

added: most halls will provide half price vendor meals

whoever we are paying for their services that's who we will be feeding.
