which ring would you prefer...an eternity band or a band with 9 diamonds(each ring would be same ct. wt. ).
i am in a toss up between having diamonds adorn my whole finger, but be paranoid of damaging to ones on the underside of my hand....or have 9 diamonds, but each one be much larger....im trying to post pics now.
I am anti-eternity because I am way too active to have diamonds on the bottom of my fingers. I teach, cook, clean, coach and everything else in between and wouldn't chance it getting ruined. Also, if the ring slides around a little and turns, there's no way you can prevent the entire ring from getting scratched or ruined one day. Go for the 9 stones.

well you have to see wheich looks better with your ring..
but for me i thinkim getting the eternity band because the diamonds go all the way around and the ring with rotate.

I definitely think you should try it on with your e ring and then decide. They are both beautiful

my cousin got a beautiful tacori eternity with pave stones and had it less than a year and already 2 diamonds fell out..
my friend has an eternity where each diamond is .25 ct and she lost a diamond!

I'd say you have to go somewhere and try it on with your ring. I found that a lot of bands i LOVED didn't look right - just flat out took away from it, etc...

im having the same debate for myself and i cant even decide. I want the eternity band but am afraid of the diamonds falling out, then some people i know have them and say they wont fall out!! Im sorry im no help!!

I'm having the same problem!! i love eternity bands..and really want one..but im afraid of destroying it! I'd probably go with the 9 stone ring also..it almost goes all the way around..so you would never tell!

I would say if you do go the eternity ring route - make sure you have a good warranty - so if anything DOES fall out - you can have it replaced & fixed...

i also agree with this..,.some of the bands i've tried on just didn't look right with my e-ring..some were just plain gaudy

At first I thought I wanted an eternity band but then after talking to FH and our jewler about it, they talked me out of it. They were saying you dont need diamonds on the bottom of your fingers, better chance of loosing/damaging them, yadda yadda yadda. So I went with a band that has diamonds 3/4 of the way around. It still looks like an eternity band when its on my finger. I love it.
(by the way....I still loveeeee eternity bands though. )
