Which would you choose?

Which would you choose?

My invitations are late (was supposed to get them last Thursday, and will now be getting them tomorrow) and I wasn't too thrilled about it.
I finally heard from my invitation lady this afternoon and she feels awful and wants to compensate me for the delay and stress. She had a valid reason for being delayed, but still.
Here are my two choices, 20% off the invitation total OR my programs for only $1 each (far less than they usually cost).
Now, I already made the template for my programs, but between paper, ink, and ribbon it would probably be more than $1 to make them myself. Not to mention the time. And these would macth my invitations.

Which would you choose, 20% off the total or really nice programs for a buck each? Of course if I did the programs it would be under the pretense that she could turn them around in just two weeks to be SURE I had them on time.

What would be the bigger savings?

20% OFF...programs do not HAVE to match perfectly with the invitations.

I'd do the math and figure out which is greater 20% off the invitations vs. the $1 programs (how many programs do you need?)

You were already going to pay for the invitations in full and weren't expecting any kind of compensation for them. So I'd prob go with the programs and destress yourself a little!!

I don't so much care that they match, it would just be a nice touch. It's going to get all the supplies and making them that I would not have to deal with.

As for cost, it is almost equivalent. I think I might fare slightly better with the 20% off, but I would have one less thing to do.... one less thing that might take an entire weekend!

Since the discount price-wise is the same, I'd say programs. Time is valuable and it's one less thing for you to have to worry about. Supplies add up!

i would go with programs, if the cost/savings is about the same, it will save you time/stress and one less thing for you to do!

20% off .

Seems like she must be charging over 20% for your invites... I would rather cut her profit.

Since you said the savings would be similar, I say definitely go for the programs. Time is as valuable as money in many cases!!
